Since 2002, Russ Farrar and Bill Bates have been rated “AV Preeminent®” from the Martindale-Hubbell® Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers™, the only nationally recognized attorney rating service.

Based on a peer review survey conducted by Martindale-Hubbell, an AV rating is a significant accomplishment. An AV rating is the topmost ranking given by Martindale-Hubbell®, and is a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of excellence in legal ability and ethics. A lawyer must have been admitted to the bar for a minimum of 10 years to receive an AV rating.

Kristin Ellis Berexa was selected for inclusion in the 2019 Mid-South Super Lawyers® listing. The Mid-South region includes Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee. Super Lawyers® is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. This peer designation is awarded only to a select number of accomplished attorneys in each state.
